As a HVAC Facilities Technician you will be responsible for:
Responsibilities:
As a HVAC Facilities Technician, you will be responsible for daily
support activities, including:
Providing a level of expertise in performing preventive, predictive
and corrective maintenance to a wide variety of industrial or
commercial facility HVAC equipment.
Ensure optimal and continuous operation of mechanical systems by
performing routine inspections and maintenance, monitoring metering
equipment and adjusting levels as necessary.
Identifying and correcting any safety-related issues and performing
independent equipment evaluations to identify potential equipment
failures.?
Operating, maintaining, diagnosing, troubleshooting, and repairing
ventilation equipment, pumps, fans, chillers, rooftop AHU's, split
systems, compressors, refrigeration, and other mechanical equipment
as needed.
Utilizing the building automation system to track building
conditions and the operation of facilities equipment.
Provide a level of expertise in the efficient operation of all HVAC
systems.
Recharging refrigerant levels, checking for leaks, and ensuring the
refrigerant cycle is functioning correctly in air conditioning, and
refrigeration systems.
Utilizing strong mechanical and electrical skills to complete
assignments.
Performing preventive and predictive maintenance on HVAC control
and operating systems as scheduled from a Computerized Maintenance
Management System (CMMS).
Responding and providing service and feedback to the customer on
all work orders while assuring compliance to codes, regulations,
and industry standards.
Performing the functions of the position including following proper
safety guidelines such as job hazard analysis, lockout/tagout, and
wearing PPE as required.?
Operating various measuring, diagnostic, and testing instruments to
help provide energy efficiency solutions.
Complying with Good Laboratory Practices (GLP).
Maintaining a strict schedule in order to be successful in the
assignment.
Performing other duties as assigned by Management or Lead.
Minimum Requirements
High school diploma or demonstrated equivalent.
EPA Universal Refrigeration License
Five years of experience as an HVAC/R maintenance technician in
industrial and/or commercial environments or demonstrated
equivalent combination of education and experience.
Able to pass a medical evaluation for respirator use and be able to
successfully complete a fit test for several types of
respirators.
Demonstrated fluency in computer use including the full Microsoft
product line.
Preferred Requirements
Technical degree preferred.
Experience working in a GMP or similar regulated environment such
as hospitals, biomedical or pharmaceutical campuses
Ability to read and understand repair manuals, specifications,
drawings, and schematic diagrams.
Experience working with heavy industrial or manufacturing plant
steam systems, centrifugal chillers, air handling units, turbines,
boilers, cooling towers, air compressors, air dryers, heat
exchangers, exhaust systems, pneumatic controls, and building
automation control systems.
Experience using a Computerized Maintenance Management System
(CMMS); EAMS experience is a plus.
Experience interpreting a variety of instructions furnished in
written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
This is a Full-Time, Contract opportunity.
Schedule: Monday - Friday from 6:00 Am -2:30 Pm
Duration: 12 Months
Location: Chesterfield, Missouri
Pay Rate: $35.0 - $37.0 per hour on W2.
Pay range offered to a successful candidate will be based on
several factors, including the candidate's education, work
experience, work location, specific job duties, certifications,
etc.
