Job Description The Boeing Company is currently seeking an
F/A-18 Mission Systems Analysis and Integration Engineers to join
the F-18 Advanced Mission Systems team located in Berkeley, MO .
This position will focus on supporting the Boeing Defense, Space &
Security (BDS) business organization. This role will involve
integration of aircraft mission avionics systems while working in
collaborative environment utilizing SAFe (Scaled Agile Framework).
The selected candidate will have the opportunity to play a key role
supporting the F/A-18 Super Hornet and Growler fleet. Experience
with avionics technology is a plus. Our teams are currently hiring
for a broad range of experience levels including; Associate and
Experienced Level Mission Systems Analysis and Integration
Engineers . Position Responsibilities:
- Work with external customers and internal stakeholders to plan
and execute complex hardware-software integration efforts in a
fast-paced agile environment
- Responsible for communication across teams and across levels of
technical leadership
- Analyze test and flight data, investigating to identify
problems and possible solutions
- Perform analysis to predict component, interconnects and system
performance and to optimize design around established
requirements
- Develop models and tools to support data analysis
- Provide support and solves problems concerning fielded hardware
and software over the entire product lifecycle
- Must be proactive in understanding the big picture and the
inter-relationships between positions and activities of the F/A-18
organization
- Must be proactive in understanding the product systems and
apply the principles of systems thinking to accelerate performance
with first time quality
- Work under minimal direction This position is expected to be
100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite
at one of the listed location options.This position requires the
ability to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance for which the U.S.
Government requires U.S. Citizenship. An interim and/or final U.S.
Secret Clearance Post-Start is required.Basic Qualifications
(Required Skills/Experience):
- Bachelor of Science degree from an accredited course of study
in engineering, engineering technology (includes manufacturing
engineering technology), chemistry, physics, mathematics, data
science, or computer science
- Bachelor's degree and 2+ years of related work experience or
Master's degree with related work experience or PhD with related
work experiencePreferred Qualifications (Desired
Skills/Experience):
- Experience developing products in an Agile development
environment
- Experience developing Avionics products and technologies
- Experience in interdisciplinary engineering planning, design,
development, integration, analysis, and validation and verification
of avionics and/or electronics including hardware and
softwareTypical Education/Experience: Associate (Level 2)
Education/experience typically acquired through advanced technical
education from an accredited course of study in engineering,
computer science, mathematics, physics or chemistry (e.g. Bachelor)
and typically 2 or more years' related work experience or an
equivalent combination of technical education and experience (e.g.
Master). In the USA, ABET accreditation is the preferred, although
not required, accreditation standard.Experienced (Level 3)
Education/experience typically acquired through advanced technical
education from an accredited course of study in engineering,
computer science, mathematics, physics or chemistry (e.g. Bachelor)
and typically 5 or more years' related work experience or an
equivalent combination of technical education and experience (e.g.
PhD, Master+3 years' related work experience). In the USA, ABET
accreditation is the preferred, although not required,
