You must be at least 21 years or older to apply and are looking to
fill a variety of shifts. This is a seasonal position that runs
from March 15th through the end of season on November 3rd.Essential
Duties and Responsibilities:
Ensure department compliance with Health Department and Diversey
regulations
Perform frequent audits of restaurants and stands
Verifies food safety by evaluating different aspects of the
environment including, but not limited to: food handler
certifications, team member hygiene, food handling and storage,
product labeling, expiration dates, cooking, holding and
refrigeration temperatures, facility and equipment maintenance,
equipment and restaurant cleanliness, disposal methods, food borne
illness risks, presence of any health hazards
Record and organize findings from internal audits
Prepare reports including weekly recaps and suggestions on
improving processes for regular review
Follow up on any implemented changes
Retain all completed documentation
Educate, regularly reinforce and provide training in the field
and/or classroom setting for Team Members and leadership concerning
food safety
Provide ongoing feedback to leadership team regarding needed
improvements to comply with safety guidelines
Ensures all equipment is used safely. Promote safety awareness and
identify safety hazards
Report any maintenance concerns that could have an adverse effect
on food and personal safety
Provide refresher trainings on Diversey and Health Department
guidelines
Participate in F&B Leadership meetings
Works closely with inspectors from third party compliance auditors
and Health Department when on site
Enforce park policies
Ensure ability to maintain regular and punctual attendance
Act as liaison with the parks Public Safety Department
Have frequent communication with team members and leadership
team
Instruct and Proctor Servsafe Food Manager and Alcohol
Certifications
Motivate staff to reach department safety goals
Reward team members and leadership teams for good performance
Assist in park as needed
Skills and Qualifications: Minimum Age: 21
Teaching experience preferred
Experience in food management and health inspections preferred
Must obtain ServSafe Food Manager Certification (Company
provided)
Must obtain ServSafe Alcohol Certification (Company provided)
Must obtain ServSafe Instructor Certification (Company
provided)
Must obtain ServSafe Proctor Certification (Company provided)
o Within 30 days of Hire
Must demonstrate knowledge of food borne pathogens, illness, and
disease
Understanding of Federal, State and local laws, policies,
procedures, standards, and specifications regarding the inspection
of food facilities and products
Must demonstrate knowledge of food science
Comfortable working around guests and operate within a diverse
community
Comfortable with frequent communication and follow ups with
Department and in park leadership
Excellent organizational, verbal, and written communication
skills
Working knowledge of Microsoft Office
Must have or are able to get Hepatitis A vaccinations
Demonstrate good critical thinking and decision making skills
Must be willing to work outdoors in various weather conditions
Must be willing to work flexible hours, including weekends,
evenings, and holidays
Must be able to work in a fast paced environment
Must be professional, self-motivated, follow directions, and
possess the ability to multi-task
Must have strong teamwork skills and the ability to work with
others
Must be outgoing, polite, courteous, and maintain a positive
attitude
Must be able to walk, bend, and stand for extended periods of
time
Must be able to lift up to 50lbsOther Functions: All other duties
assigned or necessary to support the park as a whole.
