This person will have a genuine interest in geriatric care and be able to motivate staff and residents. Delivers and serves food and beverage items promptly and confirms that each resident has received the correct menu items. Cleans and sanitizes production equipment, work surfaces, and kitchen according to cleaning schedules and procedures.Assists in transporting food and food items to and from the Kitchen to dining or resident rooms.Requirements:High school diploma, G.E.D., or equivalent preferred but not required.Experience waiting tables in a hotel, restaurant, or club with fine dining is preferred.Ability to interpret and explain the menu, refer or answer questions, coordinate the meal service process, and respond to requests.Ability to work in close cooperation with residents, guests, visitors, families, supervisors and peers.
