  • Shift: 5x8 Nights (2245-0715)
  • Avg. Daily Census: 50-60 cases/day
  • Years of experience REQ: Minimum 3 years' experience required
  • First-timers accepted: No
  • Weekend REQ: Yes- Weekends are once a month with a total of 16 hours of obligation
  • Certs REQ: BLS required, CST preferred
  • Is on-call REQ? Yes- required as needed for the department
  • Will clinician float within scope to meet facility needs? Yes- will float within scope of practice
  • Open to accommodating block schedule? Discuss schedule requests with manager
  • Locals accepted: No- must live > 50 miles from facility to apply
  • Pending License accepted: N/A- no license required for this role
  • RTO Restrictions: Discuss RTO with manager - all time off must be reviewed and approved by manager
  • Guaranteed Hours: Client may call-off up to 36 hours per thirteen week assignment without paying for the cancelled hours. If Client cancels more hours than permitted by this section, Client will be billed for any shifts or portions thereof cancelled in excess of this section. If Candidates are placed on-call in lieu of being called off, that will count as a called-off shift
  • Special Requirements: Must be in IL 3 business days prior to compliance HDD in order to meet fingerprinting requirements

  • Required Skills/Experience: Direct Laryngoscopy, Radial neck dissection, Tonsillectomy/adenoidectomy, Tracheostomy, Colonoscopy, EGD, Peg tube placement/exchange, Appendectomy, Cholecystectomy, Colon resection - Open/LAP, Hernia repair inguinal/umbilical, Laparoscopic assisted procedures, Mastectomy, Thyroidectomy partial/total, Abdominal hysterectomy, Anterior/Posterior repair, Bilateral tubal ligation, Dilation & Curettage, Laparoscopic assisted gynecological procedures, Vaginal Hysterectomy, Craniotomy, Laminectomy/discectomy, Lumbar fusion, Repair of fractured jaws, mandibular and zygomatic, Arthroscopy, Arthrotomy, Carpal tunnel release, Closed/Open reduction of fractures, Free Flap - Microvascular, Amputations, Gunshot/stab wounds, MVA (multiple injuries), Cystoscopy, Laparoscopic assisted cases, Nephrectomy, Ureteroscopy, Fire Safety, Drills (multiple types), Electrosurgical units, Fiber optic light sources/cords
  • Required Professional Knowledge and Skills: Aseptic Technique, Isolation Precautions, Radiation Safety, Sharps Safety, Specimen Handling/Labeling, Universal Protocol (Time out) Procedure
  • Teaching Hospital Experience Preferred
  • Trauma Level I Experience Required
